The problem

Security tooling is bought in layers that never meet. The threat model lives in a document, the scanner lives in the pipeline, the compliance framework lives in a spreadsheet, and nothing carries a finding from one to the next.
Because the layers are separate, the same risk is counted differently in each. Leadership sees three numbers for one estate and cannot reconcile them.
Evidence is the first casualty. By the time a finding reaches a report, the reasoning that produced it — which threat, which control, which resource — has usually been lost.

What Aribot does

  • Start from the architecture. Upload a diagram, or build one, and the components and trust boundaries become the model everything else attaches to.
  • Threats are derived per component using recognised methodologies, so each one is traceable to a specific part of the system rather than to the estate in general.
  • Threats map to controls, and controls map to the frameworks you report against — one derivation, reused, instead of a separate mapping exercise per framework.
  • Connected cloud accounts test those controls against live resources, so a control's status comes from evidence and not from an assertion.
  • Untested controls stay visibly untested at every level of the rollup. The number of controls that were never evaluated travels with the score.
  • Findings with an available fix move into governed remediation, where the change is proposed, gated, applied with a rollback point, and verified.

Who this is for

Someone evaluating on a Friday afternoon

When it comes up

You want to know whether this is worth a pilot before committing anyone's week to it.

What changes

Read-only access to one account produces findings without changing anything in your estate.

A team running a proof of value

When it comes up

The trial needs to show something concrete to a sponsor who was not in the demo.

What changes

The evidence pack names the control, the resource tested and the date, and lists what was not measured.

An operator planning rollout

When it comes up

You need to know where this stops being read-only and starts making changes.

What changes

Nothing changes until a person approves a specific action; connecting an account grants reading only.

In the product

  1. 1
    Model the architecture
Upload a diagram or compose one. Components, data flows and trust boundaries become the structure every later step refers back to.
  2. 2
    Derive threats per component
Each threat is attached to the component it applies to, with the reasoning kept, so it can be reviewed rather than accepted.
  3. 3
Map threats to controls and frameworks
One control set, expressed against whichever frameworks you report on. Adding a framework re-uses the existing derivation rather than restarting it.
  4. 4
Test controls against the real cloud
Connected accounts are scanned and results attach to the specific control and resource. A scan result outranks a manual assertion.
  5. 5
    Read posture with its basis
Scores arrive with what was measured and what was not. Coverage sits beside effectiveness so a high score over a small sample cannot pass as estate-wide.
  6. 6
    Remediate under a gate
Eligible findings go to self-healing: dry run, policy gate, rollback checkpoint, apply, then verify against the cloud before the finding closes.

Use case

From architecture diagram to a fix you can check

Aribot follows one path from your architecture to an approved, re-checked fix, and keeps the evidence for each step at the step that produced it.
